This five day Summer School on Integrity, organized by Sant’Anna School Dirpolis (Law, Politics, Development) Institute with the partnership of A.N.A.C. (Anti-Corruption Italy’s National Authority) and Transparency International – Italia, will take place on July 9-13, 2018.

As part of its anti-corruption strategy, Sant’Anna School has placed its own “integrity” commitments in the education context and has offered training programs to implement anti-corruption instruments and promote public ethics. The course Summer School on Integrity, as a joint initiative in cooperation with government and contractor personnel, finance and accounting personnel, judges and administrators, aims at providing anti-corruption expertise and extensive knowledge on public procurement. The purpose of this program is to provide instruments to respond to corruption affecting the public administration by increasing transparency of public policy decisions.

The topics addressed in the Summer School on Integrity include law enforcement and regulatory response to corruption within public administration; criminal law and provisions regarding public officials; civil and administrative liability (Law no. 231/2001) in matters relating to fraud, bribery and corruption; relationships between media exposure regarding illicit activities, public awareness and corruption disclosures; public ethics.
